Landrum Cardinals Baseball

History

The Landrum High School Baseball program has been in continuous operation since 1972, when area native Steve Coley returned from playing professional baseball to rebuild the baseball program for the small Northern Spartanburg County school that had been defunct for several years. With hard work and determination, within the first few years Landrum would win its first state championship, setting the standard to which Landrum teams strive to accomplish today. Over the years Cardinals coaches and players have accomplished several impressive feats both on and off the field. This lists represents only a portion of those athletic and academic feats and further accomplishment will added to this list once they take place or are submitted and verified for accuracy.

Since 1972, Landrum teams have won:

Four Class A State Championships (1975, 2002, 2005, 2007)
